Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival

Lynn Marie Naden is a multi-medium artist who has lived in Homer, Alaska since 1990. Her commissioned Public Art pieces include the Homer Public Library with "The ABC's of Kachemak Bay" and the "Sea Farer's Memorial". Lynn has facilitated numerous art installations in public schools throughout the State of Alaska.

 

 

Lynn's original artwork "In Turn" - Black Turnstones at Kachemak Bay is the featured design showcased on this year's Festival t-shirts. Signed prints will also be available. Raffle tickets are available for the framed and matted original artwork, with the drawing held  Sunday, May 8th during the Birders' Coffee. Proceeds benefit the Festival.

 

 

 

 

Lynn Marie Naden is well know for her field casting art. Festival participants can learn this medium during Lynn's Field Casting Workshop on Saturday, May 7th, 12:30pm-4:30pm at her studio out East End Road. See program schedule for full details.
