Brochure Distribution
Year-round brochure distribution maintained by
Chamber staff at the Visitor Information Center and
the airport; also entitles you to two pages in the
referral books on display at the Visitor Information
Center.
Additional Listings and Website Links
The first listing on the Chamber Website and the
Visitor Guide is FREE. Take advantage of our
EXPANDED CATEGORY LIST and have your business listed
under several categories! A listing includes your
company's name, address, and up to 3 contacts
(phone, fax, email, website). Categories chosen must
reflect business services you offer. Members can
also have "hot" website links from each of their
category listings on the Chamber Website.
Inquiry List
A data-based list of names, addresses, emails and
interests of those inquiring about Homer. This list
is provided weekly via fax, email, or hard copy
pickup each Monday afternoon.
Availability Service
A real-time web based data tracking system on the
Chamber Website showing availability of our members'
services. 24 hour access, self-serve updating on
line. Daily reports posted at the Chamber for
visitors. Receive a discount on this service when
purchased at the same time with Brochure
Distribution.
Other Services & Events
Chamber Mixer
Chamber member hosts a free open house at their
business. Mixers are held once a month on Friday
evenings for two hours with approximately 40 to 60
members in attendance. Mixer fees cover promotion of
the event by Chamber staff. Call the Chamber early
to reserve your Mixer date - they book fast!
Newsletter Inserts
Provide an insert for the Chamber's monthly
newsletter which is sent to over 500 members. Fees
vary depending on size. Inserts can be 1 or 2 sided
and on any colored paper. All inserts must be
pre-approved. Members are responsible for making
enough copies for the newsletters (check with
Chamber staff for number and deadline).
Mailing Lists
Purchase a list of all current members (over 500).
Lists can be provided electronically, on mailing
labels, or printed hard copy.
Halibut Derby Tagged Fish
Sponsors "tag" a fish in the Homer Jackpot Halibut
Derby for additional promotional opportunities for
your business. Rates vary.
Sponsor Special Events
Additional opportunities to promote your business
are available through sponsorship and donations for
special events. Throughout the year, the Chamber
coordinates various events and festivals such as the
Shorebird Festival, SeaFest, July 4th Parade, Winter
Carnival and more.
Sponsorships and donations will be solicited from
members through mailings and newsletter inserts.
