Winter Carnival
THE HOMER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND VISITOR CENTER AND ALASKA USA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION ARE SPONSORING THE 59th ANNUAL WINTER CARNIVAL
This year's theme is - SNOWMACHINES, SKATES AND SKIS OH MY!!!

You are cordially invited to join us from Thursday, February 7th through Sunday, February 10th to participate in the 2013 Winter Carnival. Participation is FREE and there are prizes to be won.
Best Non-Profit - $400
Best Individual or Family - $200
Best For-Profit - $125
Judges Choice - $125
Parade will start at noon at the Homer High School parking lot and proceed down Pioneer Avenue. Parade participants will be judged on: use of theme, effort put into the float or display and the 60 second presentation before the Grand Reviewing Stands.
Rules and Regulations:
- Pre-register, if possible, at the Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center, 201 Sterling Highway.
- Be at the Homer High School parking lot at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 9. The Parade will start at noon. It is important that you are there in a timely manner so the order of participants is arranged for the judging.
- Impress the judges with your creativity, effort and overall presentation.
- Entry forms are available online or at the Chamber. Turn the form into Nyla at the Chamber, email it to info@homeralaska.org or fax it to 907-235-8766 PRIOR to the day of the parade.
