Marketing Director

The Homer Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center has an opening for a Marketing Director starting November 2, 2026.

Job Purpose

The Marketing Director develops and executes marketing strategies that promote Homer as one of Alaska’s premier visitor destinations while strengthening the visibility and value of the Homer Chamber of Commerce and its members. The position oversees the Chamber’s digital marketing platforms, websites, social media, visitor publications, branding, advertising, media relations, and promotional campaigns to increase tourism, community engagement, event participation, and member exposure. The Marketing Director works collaboratively with staff, volunteers, community partners, and media to tell Homer’s story through compelling content and innovative marketing initiatives.
