The Peony Celebration returns for the 7th Annual celebration this summer in Homer from July 1 - August 14, 2026.

The Homer Peony Celebration is an annual summer event that showcases Homer, Alaska's thriving peony industry and celebrates the community's designation as the "City of Peonies." Held throughout July and August, the celebration invites visitors and residents to experience the beauty of peak-bloom peonies through farm tours, garden walks, workshops, art exhibits, special events, and locally inspired culinary experiences.

Visitors can explore peony farms and public gardens, purchase fresh-cut bouquets, participate in floral design classes, enjoy tea events and wellness activities, and discover peony-inspired artwork displayed throughout the community. Local growers, artists, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations collaborate to create a vibrant season of events that highlights Homer's agricultural heritage, creative culture, and natural beauty.

The celebration also encourages self-guided exploration of Homer's public peony gardens, murals, and downtown businesses, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience the city during one of its most colorful and scenic seasons.
