4th of July Parade : America the Beautiful
in Homer, Alaska
Join the Homer Chamber of Commerce for Homer’s annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 3:00–4:00 PM, rain or shine, along Pioneer Avenue.
A longstanding community tradition, Homer’s 4th of July Parade brings together local businesses, organizations, families, and visitors each year for an afternoon of patriotic celebration, creative floats, and small-town spirit. As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, this year’s parade holds even greater significance as part of a once-in-a-generation national milestone.
2026 Theme: America the Beautiful
In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s parade theme is America the Beautiful, celebrating the people, landscapes, freedoms, and traditions that make the United States extraordinary. Participants are encouraged to creatively interpret this theme through floats, decorations, costumes, and displays as we commemorate this once-in-a-generation milestone.
