Taste of Homer Update

We’re excited to share an important update for Taste of Homer 2026.

Although the event has been held in late May for the last few years, this year’s event is being thoughtfully moved to the fall, with tentative dates of August 28 – September 7, 2026.

This shift allows us to better celebrate what makes Homer’s culinary scene so special — our local growers, seasonal ingredients, talented chefs, food producers, and the authentic flavors of our community. By moving Taste of Homer later in the season, we hope to create a richer, more locally rooted experience while also shining a spotlight on Homer’s vibrant end-of-season atmosphere.

Taste of Homer will continue to feature a week of restaurant specials, culinary experiences, and unique food events that showcase the incredible creativity and flavor of Homer’s food scene. (Also, be on the lookout for a culinary showcase at Homer HarborFest on June 6th!)

We look forward to sharing more details in the coming months and inviting everyone to experience a more authentic Taste of Homer this fall.
