Taste of Homer

We're thrilled to report that the annual Taste of Homer event, held from May 13th to May 21st, 2023, was a resounding success! Over these nine days, we embarked on an extraordinary culinary adventure showcasing the best of Homer's food scene and providing an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Restaurant Specials: Participating restaurants throughout Homer offered exclusive specials that had our community and visitors alike delighting in gourmet experiences and reveling in these limited-time offers.

Cooking Classes: Our expert-led cooking classes were a hit. From seasoned home chefs to curious beginners, attendees got to sharpen their culinary skills with valuable tips and techniques shared by our experts.

Pairings: The guided sessions exploring the art of pairing food and beverages were well received. Participants learned how to enhance their dining experiences with perfect flavor combinations, from wine and cheese to craft beer and small bites.

Educational Classes: Our informative classes, held from May 13-21, broadened participants' culinary knowledge on a range of topics, such as nutrition, sustainable food practices, and global cuisine. The feedback was extremely positive!

Tours: The guided tours of Homer's finest culinary destinations offered attendees a deep dive into the local food scene. Visits to farms, breweries, wineries, and more gave an inside look at the ingredients and processes that make our region's food so special.
